The Legend of Jeffrey
The Legend of Jeffrey was a tale told to many children in many lands across the world. It is the story of a lowly peasant who had nothing in his life. He was poor, he had no family, and his name was known to no one. If he vanished off the face of the world, it's unlikely anyone would have noticed. One day, he made a prayer to the gods, and a witch appeared. This witch, who's name was lost witch the passage of time, told him that he could have all the powers of the world, and everything he ever wanted, by just doing her one favor. She could grant him riches, power, the world itself, and as Jeffery realized this, he was overcome by his own greed. The man wasn't going to deny the witches offer, but what she wanted was a treasure of great power, however it was not going to be easy to get.
She wanted a cloth that was on display at the most maximum security place in China. But at this moment all Jeffrey had to do is to get the cloth so he could get all his powers. So he gets to the museum & decides to steal and run. They have security guards all over the cloth, he has to find a different way to access the cloth so he decides to fill the museum of fog, it gets the police out now all he has to do is get the cloth but it seems too easy they have security cameras and see who he is.
After he made his escape and retrieved the cloth, he made his way back home and thought over the terms of the witch’s contract. He was trying to find some kind of loophole, however, thoughts of wealth and power filled his mind, and his greed clouded his judgment. He didn't consider the consequences of what he was about to do and all he wanted was the power he were promised. He got up, reviewed his deal with the witch over in his head one last time, and excited and eager to get his reward, he set off to deliver the cloth to the witch.
She kept her part of the deal, but she made him her husband by force. While the police knows who stole it but what they don't know is that he's on the way to giving her the last ingredient to her a potion that turns her into the most powerful person on earth, it also makes her immortal. Jeffrey finds this out; he needed to find a way to reverse the potions spell. The only way to do that was to learn how to become a wizard. So he had to learn how to become a wizard in less than 1hour. She was going to take over the world in 1 hour but there was another way. There was a dagger in the museum that could be inserted into her chest, and it would kill her. But he was afraid since he had never killed anyone before. But he knew that if he didn't do it she would take over and he was the only person that could kill her that dagger was like superman's kryptonite.
So he went to the museum and got the dagger but he got caught. Since he thought that he could get out since he had all the powers of the world. Then the only thing that was standing from him and the fight of his life was The Room of fears and his fears where spiders and he ran through the spider room, and jump out the window. On at the other side of the room he runs and runs a spider hops on him but he doesn’t notice. So he jumps out he thinks he made it safe.
So he starts to go where the witch is hiding and he finally gets there he still hasn’t noticed the spider. When he gets there he confronts her and he feels the spider. Then he sees it and drops the dagger. She noticed his fears to spiders and she quickly turns into a giant spider. He picks up the dagger and runs away. He has 10minutes to kill the witch before she takes over so he has to go and face his fear. So he goes and attacks her in the back and she falls, thinking her dead. He falls to the floor and lies down while she's slowly getting back up he noticed that she wasn’t dead. He grabs the dagger and plunges it into her chest killing her while she dies she said "you could have had everything". He replied "No, in selling my soul to you, I would have lost my honor, and without that, I am nothing. I will not let power corrupt my soul and take over my being. I would rather die a poor but honorable man, than live as a dishonorable monster."
